The Cork county football team represents Cork in men's Gaelic football and is governed by Cork GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. It competes in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, the Munster Senior Football Championship and the National Football League, and its home ground is Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork. Cork was the third Munster county to win an All-Ireland title and has won it seven times, in 1890, 1911, 1945, 1973, 1989, 1990 and 2010. Football has long been seen as the weaker of the two sports in Cork, and the biggest hindrance to its success has been the presence of next-door neighbours Kerry. The team lost back-to-back finals to Meath in 1987 and 1988 before winning the 1989 and 1990 championships, and its last Munster title came in 2012, the year of its most recent National League win.
