Football Codes

Don Davis (born 13 March 1969) is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played as a full forward for the Cork senior team. Born in Skibbereen, County Cork, he first played competitive football at St Fachtna's De La Salle Secondary School, joined the Cork minor team at seventeen, later played under-21, and made his senior debut in the 1993 championship. Over the next seven years he won four Munster medals and a National Football League medal, was an All-Ireland runner-up twice, made 23 championship appearances and retired after the 2000 championship. With O'Donovan Rossa he won an All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship alongside his brothers Tony and Pat, as well as a Munster club title and a Cork Senior Football Championship. He is often noted as one of Cork's greatest players, was chosen at centre forward on a Cork team of players who never won an All-Ireland medal, and was named a selector in Brian Cuthbert's 2013 management team.
