The Meath county football team represents Meath in men's Gaelic football and is governed by Meath GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. It competes in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, the Leinster Senior Football Championship and the National Football League, and its home ground is Páirc Tailteann in Navan. Meath won the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship seven times, in 1949, 1954, 1967, 1987, 1988, 1996 and 1999. The first notable Meath side was the Pierce O'Mahony's club of Navan, which reached the 1895 final, and the county's first national success came in the National League in 1933. The team of the late 1980s and the 1990s won consecutive finals in 1987 and 1988, and Meath last won the Leinster Championship in 2010 and the National League in 1994.
