THW Kiel is a professional men's handball club based in Kiel, Germany, with handball roots dating to the early 20th century within the wider Kiel sports club THW, and one of the most successful clubs in European handball history, having won multiple EHF Champions League continental titles alongside a large number of German Handball-Bundesliga championships, more than any other club in the league's history. Playing in black and white, nicknamed "Die Zebras" (The Zebras) for its striped kit, the club plays at the Wunderino Arena and has long been regarded, alongside a small handful of Spanish and French rivals, among the dominant institutions of European men's club handball.
