Port Adelaide Football Club

Port Adelaide Football Club is a professional Australian rules football club based in Alberton, South Australia. Its senior men's team plays in the Australian Football League as the Power, while its reserves men's team competes in the South Australian National Football League as the Magpies. Founded in 1870, it is the oldest professional football club in South Australia and the fifth-oldest in the AFL, and it was a founding member of the South Australian Football Association, later the SANFL. The club has won an unequalled 36 SANFL premierships and four Championship of Australia titles, and it won its AFL premiership in 2004 after entering the league in 1997 as the only pre-existing non-Victorian club to join from another league. It has played at Alberton Oval since 1880 and at Adelaide Oval since 2014, and its Showdown with the Adelaide Crows is a twice-yearly fixture.
