Haydn William Bunton Senior, 1911 to 1955, was an Australian rules footballer who represented Fitzroy in the Victorian Football League, Subiaco in the West Australian league and Port Adelaide in the South Australian league during the 1930s and 1940s. He is the only footballer to have won both the Brownlow Medal and the Sandover Medal three times each, and one of only four to win the Brownlow three times. He is also the only player to average a Brownlow vote per game over a completed career, at 1.04. Like Don Bradman and Phar Lap, he was a sporting champion who lifted the public during the Great Depression, and some historians regard him as the greatest player of all.
