Boston Cannons

Hockey Codes

The Boston Cannons are a professional field lacrosse team based in Boston, Massachusetts, that plays in the Premier Lacrosse League and hosts its home games at Harvard Stadium. The club was one of the original six teams of Major League Lacrosse, competing from the inaugural 2001 season until 2020, and was the only MLL team identity to continue into the PLL after the two leagues merged. In the MLL the Cannons won two Steinfeld Cup championship games, in 2011 and 2020, the latter being the final MLL championship. After joining the PLL in 2020 the team played as Cannons Lacrosse Club before taking the Boston Cannons name again once the PLL assigned home cities after the 2023 season.
