UK Athletics

UK Athletics is the national governing body for track and field athletics in the United Kingdom, founded in 1999 as a successor to the British Amateur Athletic Board and headquartered in Birmingham, overseeing the sport across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland at the Great Britain team level. It selects the Great Britain and Northern Ireland team for the Olympics and World Athletics Championships and coordinates athlete development and major event hosting, including World Athletics Championships staged in London.
