Zoe Cunningham is a British businesswoman and competitive backgammon player who won the Ladies World Backgammon Championship in 2010 at the 35th World Backgammon Championship in Monte Carlo, where she was also named to that event's dream team. She previously won the 2005 Mind Sports Olympiad backgammon tournament in Cambridge and reached the finals of the World Series of Backgammon twice, in 2008. Outside competitive play she serves as managing director of the software development firm Softwire and holds a mathematics degree from Cambridge University, and has been recognized for her advocacy of women in technology, including a nomination for the 2013 FDM Everywoman in Technology Awards and being named a Businesswoman of the Future by The Independent.
