Xan de Waard is a Dutch field hockey midfielder, born November 8, 1995, in Renkum, Netherlands, who plays club hockey for SCHC and has earned 231 caps for the Netherlands women's national team since her debut on February 4, 2013. She is a two-time Olympic gold medalist (2020 Tokyo, 2024 Paris) and one-time Olympic silver medalist (2016 Rio), a three-time World Cup champion (2014, 2018, 2022) and four-time European champion (2017, 2019, 2023, 2025), was named FIH Player of the Year in 2023 and 2025, and became captain of the Dutch team in 2023.
