Troy Corser is an Australian former professional motorcycle road racer, born on 27 November 1971 in Wollongong, New South Wales. He competed in the Superbike World Championship from 1992 to 2011, except for 1997, when he raced in the 500cc Grand Prix class, and he won the world title in 1996 and 2005. He had previously won the Australian and AMA Superbike championships. His 1996 title made him the series' youngest champion. In 1998 he won both races at Laguna Seca, the second by 0.005 seconds, and in 2000 he took the Aprilia to its first Superbike World Championship wins. He joined Carl Fogarty's Petronas Superbike team in 2002. He held the record for the most World Superbike race starts, 377, until Jonathan Rea overtook him in 2023.
