Sadaharu Oh is a Japanese former professional baseball player who spent his entire career with the Yomiuri Giants of Nippon Professional Baseball, playing first base. Known for his distinctive one-legged batting stance, he hit 868 career home runs, the most in the history of organized professional baseball anywhere in the world, and won the Japan Series championship repeatedly with the Giants before going on to a long career as a manager.
