Ronald Morris Rose, known as Ron Rose, lived from 4 September 1944 to 24 October 2019 and was an American poker player from Dayton, Ohio, born in Vancouver, Washington. Before turning to tournaments he served as a mathematician and project engineer in the Air Force, leaving as a Captain in 1975, and later worked as an entrepreneur. He won a World Series of Poker bracelet in the 2003 seniors' no limit hold'em event, and twice won World Poker Tour titles, including the inaugural Battle of Champions televised in 2004. He also wrote the 2004 book Poker Aces: The Stars of Tournament Poker.
