Ric Charlesworth

Ric Charlesworth is an Australian field hockey player and coach born February 6, 1952. He represented Australia in five Olympic hockey teams between 1972 and 1988, earning 227 caps and winning silver at the 1976 Montreal Games. As coach of the Hockeyroos from 1993 to 2000 he won Olympic gold in 1996 and 2000 and two World Cups, and as men's national coach from 2009 to 2014 he won the 2010 Hockey World Cup and the 2010 Commonwealth Games gold medal.
