Paul J. Wasicka, born 17 February 1981 in Dallas, Texas, is a professional poker player based in Denver, Colorado, who attended college in Madison, Wisconsin. He was runner-up to Jamie Gold in the 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event, winning more than 6,000,000 dollars, and in 2007 he won the NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship, beating Chad Brown in the final for 500,000 dollars. On the World Poker Tour he finished fourth at the 2007 L.A. Poker Classic for 455,615 dollars and earned over 700,000 dollars in total, and he took twelfth in the 2007 Aussie Millions Main Event. His live tournament winnings exceeded 7,885,000 dollars by 2016.
