Nayel Nassar is an Egyptian American professional equestrian born January 21, 1991, in Chicago, Illinois, who specializes in show jumping and began riding at age five. He won the four hundred thousand dollar Longines Grand Prix of New York and became the first rider to win both the Longines Speed Challenge and the Grand Prix at the same event on the same horse. He qualified for the FEI Show Jumping World Cup Finals in 2013, 2014 and 2017, competed at the 2014 FEI World Equestrian Games, and won the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping event in Wellington, Florida, in February 2019. He represented Egypt at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, placing twenty-fourth in the individual show jumping final, and in 2015 he established Nthemsar Stables in Southern California.
