Michael Jung

Michael Jung is a German equestrian born in 1982 in Bad Soden am Taunus who competes in eventing and show jumping. A four time Olympic gold medallist, he won individual and team gold at the 2012 London Games, individual gold and team silver at the 2016 Rio Games, and individual gold at the 2024 Paris Games. He won individual gold at the 2010 World Equestrian Games and team gold at the 2014 World Equestrian Games, plus multiple European Championship individual titles in 2011, 2013 and 2015. In 2016 he became only the second rider in history to win the Grand Slam of Eventing, and at the 2012 Olympics became the first rider ever to hold the Olympic, World and European eventing titles at the same time.
