Marc Marquez is a Spanish motorcycle racer born February 17, 1993, in Cervera, who is one of the most successful riders in the history of MotoGP, the premier class of motorcycle grand prix racing. He has won six MotoGP world championship titles, along with earlier titles in the Moto2 and 125cc classes, making him one of the few riders to win world championships across three different classes. His career included a serious 2020 arm injury that required multiple surgeries and sidelined him for an extended period, from which he made a strong return to championship contention in the following seasons.
