Maialen Chourraut Yurramendi, born March 8, 1983, is a Spanish slalom canoeist who has competed in the K1 kayak and kayak cross events since 2000. Across five Olympic Games she won gold in the K1 at Rio 2016, silver in the K1 at Tokyo 2020, and bronze in the K1 at London 2012, also competing at Beijing 2008 and Paris 2024. At World Championships she won silver medals in 2009 and 2023 and a bronze in 2011, and she also won gold at the 2015 European Championships with three further European silvers.
