Ludger Beerbaum

Ludger Beerbaum is a German show jumper born August 26, 1963, in Detmold. He won four Olympic gold medals, team gold in 1988 Seoul, individual gold in 1992 Barcelona, and team gold in both 1996 Atlanta and 2000 Sydney, plus a team bronze at the 2016 Rio Games. He also won two team gold medals at the World Equestrian Games, in 1994 and 1998, and has been ranked the world's number one show jumper by the FEI on multiple occasions.
