Josh Arieh

Josh Arieh, born 26 September 1974 in Rochester, New York, is an American professional poker player who has competed in poker tournaments since 1999. He finished third in the 2004 World Series of Poker Main Event for 2,500,000 dollars, and won bracelets in Limit Texas hold em in 1999 and in Pot Limit Omaha in 2005, when he beat Chris Ferguson. In 2021 he won two bracelets and finished ahead of Phil Hellmuth to take the WSOP Player of the Year honors, and in 2023 he won two more, bringing his career total to six bracelets across three different decades. He has made over twenty WSOP final tables and two World Poker Tour final tables, and most of his tournament earnings have come at the World Series of Poker.
