Johannes Rydzek, born 9 December 1991, is a former German Nordic combined skier who became Olympic champion on the large hill in 2018 and won six world championship titles at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2015 and 2017. He began ski jumping shortly before his fifth birthday, made his World Cup debut in Kuusamo in 2008, and took team bronze at the 2010 Vancouver Games. He won 18 World Cup events, the first in Lahti in March 2011, and was the most decorated athlete of the 2015 World Championships in Falun with two golds, a silver and a bronze. At the 2018 Games he won the individual large hill event and the team event, and in 2021 he received the Holmenkollen Medal.
