Gurjit Kaur is an Indian field hockey defender and designated drag flicker, born October 25, 1995, who has earned 137 international caps and scored 86 goals for India. She scored the most goals, eight, during India's 2017 Asia Cup championship victory, competed at the 2018 Hockey World Cup in London, and scored the decisive goal against Australia at the 2020 Summer Olympics that helped India reach the semi-finals for the first time in Olympic women's hockey history. She was named women's Player of the Year at the FIH Player of the Year Awards for 2020-21, and has won an Asian Games silver medal in 2018 and a Commonwealth Games bronze medal in 2022.
