Erik Seidel is an American professional poker player born November 6, 1959. He has won ten World Series of Poker bracelets, third all time behind only Phil Hellmuth and Phil Ivey, plus a World Poker Tour title, and was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2010. He finished runner-up in the 1988 WSOP Main Event to Johnny Chan, a hand later featured in the film Rounders, and his live tournament winnings exceed forty five million dollars, ranking seventh on the all-time money list.
