Erik Sagström, born in Linköping in 1983, is a Swedish professional poker player who came to the game by accident while surfing the web and began playing at ParadisePoker at the age of 17. He became a successful online player under the screen name The Salmon, and his largest online tournament cash came from winning the fourth event of the 2003 World Championship of Online Poker for $101,850. He also played World Series of Poker, World Poker Tour and European Poker Tour events, finishing third in the 2009 WSOP $50,000 HORSE event, and represented Sweden in the Poker Nations Cup.
