Doyle Brunson was an American poker player who played professionally for more than sixty years. He was a two time World Series of Poker Main Event champion, a Poker Hall of Fame inductee and the author of several books on poker, and he was the first player to win one million dollars in poker tournaments. He won ten World Series of Poker bracelets over his career and is one of only four players to have won the Main Event more than once, taking the title in both 1976 and 1977.
