Douglas Kim

Douglas Kim is a Korean-American poker player born on November 10, 1983, and a 2006 economics graduate of Duke University. He learned poker through a home game in college and by posting on the internet forum hosted by Two Plus Two Publishing under the name technologic. In 2006 he finished seventh in the World Series of Poker Main Event, earning $2,391,520. At that time he was the youngest player ever to make the Main Event final table, and he was the only player at that final table not knocked out by the eventual winner, Jamie Gold; he was eliminated by Paul Wasicka. As of 2008 his total live tournament winnings exceeded $2,500,000.
