Dennis N. Phillips is a professional poker player from St. Louis, Missouri, born in December 1954. He is best known for the 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event, which he entered by winning a 200 dollar satellite tournament at his local Harrah's casino in St. Louis. He reached the final table as chip leader with 26,295,000 chips and finished third, earning 4,517,773 dollars, eliminated by eventual champion Peter Eastgate. Phillips followed this with a 45th place finish in the 2009 Main Event, third place in the 2010 NBC National Heads-Up Championship in Las Vegas, and two top ten finishes in the WSOP Senior Event, second in 2012 and fifth in 2014. His live tournament winnings exceed 6,000,000 dollars, ranking him 185th on the United States all time money list.
