David Cal Figueroa is a Spanish sprint canoeist who has competed since 1999. He won five Olympic medals across the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Games: a gold in the C-1 1000 meters at the 2004 Athens Olympics and four silvers in canoe sprint events. With his medal at the 2012 London Olympics he became the Spanish athlete with the most Olympic medals of all time. He also won five medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships, including one gold in 2007.
