Dani Pedrosa is a Spanish former Grand Prix motorcycle racer from Sabadell, Catalonia, who won three world championship titles: the 125cc class in 2003 and the 250cc class in 2004 and 2005. He is the youngest champion of the intermediate class. In 2006 he moved up to MotoGP with Repsol Honda, staying for thirteen years, taking 31 race wins and 112 podiums and finishing runner-up three times, which has led many to call him the best rider never to win a MotoGP title. He retired from regular competition after 2018, became a test and development rider for KTM, and later raced as a wildcard, finishing fourth in both races at Misano in 2023.
