Cyndy Violette

Cyndy Violette, born on 19 August 1959, is an American professional poker player who won a World Series of Poker bracelet in 2004. She was born in Queens, New York, played poker with family as a child, moved to Las Vegas at 12, and began playing casino poker at 21 after a short time as a blackjack and poker dealer. In 1985 she won 75,000 dollars in a seven-card stud tournament at the Golden Nugget, at that time the biggest tournament prize won by a woman, and in 1990 she returned from a two-year break with a 62,000 dollar win at Caesars Palace. At the 2004 WSOP she won the seven-card stud high-low split bracelet, one of three women to win an open bracelet that year alongside Kathy Liebert and Annie Duke. Her largest cash was a runner-up finish in a 2,000 dollar No Limit Hold'em event at the 2005 WSOP for 295,970 dollars, and by 2024 her live winnings exceeded 1,400,000 dollars.
