Chris Ferguson, full name Christopher Philip Ferguson, is an American professional poker player born April 11, 1963, in Los Angeles, California, who has won six World Series of Poker bracelets including the 2000 WSOP Main Event, where he defeated T. J. Cloutier heads up for a 1.5 million dollar first prize. He also won the 2008 NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship, was named WSOP Player of the Year in 2017, and holds a Ph.D. in computer science from UCLA.
