Bill Edler

William Edler, known as Bill Edler, is an American professional poker player from Las Vegas, Nevada, born on February 11, 1964, who holds a J.D. degree from the University of California, Berkeley. In 2007 he won a World Series of Poker bracelet in the $5,000 buy-in shorthanded No-Limit hold'em tournament, earning over $900,000, and he finished 23rd in that year's $10,000 Main Event out of 6,358 players. The same year he won the inaugural $10,000 Heads-Up Poker Championship in Compton, California, and took the September 2007 World Poker Tour title at the Gulf Coast Poker Championship for $747,615, setting the record for the biggest comeback in World Poker Tour history after nearly being blinded out with 17 players left. As of 2010 his live tournament winnings exceeded $3,425,000.
