Elizabeth Beezie Madden, nee Patton, is an American Olympic show jumping rider born November 20, 1963. She won two Olympic team gold medals, at the 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing Games, an Olympic team silver in 2016 and an individual bronze in 2008, and won the FEI Show Jumping World Cup twice, in 2013 and 2018. She was the first American rider to break into the international top three show jumping ranking and the first woman to win over one million dollars in show jumping prize money, and in 2018, at age 54, became the oldest athlete to win a World Cup championship; she and her husband John Madden run a horse training and sales business in Cazenovia, New York.
