Wigan Warriors

Wigan Warriors is a professional rugby league club based in Wigan, Greater Manchester, England, with roots dating to 1872 and a name adopted in 1997 upon the reorganization of the sport's Super League, and the most successful club in British rugby league history, having won a record number of top-flight league championships and Challenge Cup titles. Playing in cherry-and-white hoops, the club is based at the DW Stadium and has long been one of the dominant forces of English rugby league, with the town of Wigan itself widely regarded as one of the sport's traditional heartlands in the north of England.
