The United States Solheim Cup Team is the American side in the Solheim Cup, a biennial women's golf competition against a team representing Europe, first played in 1990 and modeled on the men's Ryder Cup format. Selected from leading American players on the LPGA Tour and captained anew each edition, the team has been one of the two founding sides of the event since its creation.
