The Romania national gymnastics team was historically one of the most successful women's artistic gymnastics programs in the world, rising to prominence when Nadia Comaneci scored the first perfect 10 in Olympic history at the 1976 Montreal Games. The program continued to produce Olympic and World Championship medalists for decades afterward, including multiple Olympic all-around and team champions through the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s.
