The Mayo county football team represents Mayo in men's Gaelic football and is governed by Mayo GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. It competes in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, the Connacht Senior Football Championship and the National Football League, and its home ground is MacHale Park in Castlebar. Mayo was the second Connacht county to win the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, after Galway, but the first to appear in the final. It won the title in 1936, 1950 and 1951, and most recently in 2026, and has a long record of reaching finals only to lose them, including in 1989, 1996, 1997, 2004, 2006, 2012, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2020 and 2021. Its National League titles number thirteen, the latest in 2023, and it last won the Connacht Championship in 2021.
