Kronk Gym is a boxing gym based in Detroit, Michigan, founded by trainer Emanuel Steward in the basement of a city recreation center, and one of the most storied training gyms in the history of professional boxing. Fighters trained under the Kronk system, recognizable by its gold boxing trunks, went on to win numerous world titles, including Thomas Hearns, Michael Moorer and heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, and the gym's aggressive, high-output training style influenced generations of trainers and boxers beyond Detroit.
