Inter Milan

Football Club Internazionale Milano, widely called Internazionale or Inter, and known as Inter Milan in English-speaking countries, is an Italian professional football club based in Milan, Lombardy. It was founded on 9 March 1908 when a group of players left the Milan Cricket and Football Club, now AC Milan, because they wanted to accept foreign players, which is where the name comes from. Inter is the only team to have played in the top division of Italian football without interruption since its debut in 1909 and has never been relegated to Serie B. The club has won 21 league titles, 10 Coppa Italia and 8 Supercoppa Italiana, and the European Cup or Champions League three times. Since 1947 it has shared the San Siro with AC Milan, and their meeting is the Derby della Madonnina.
