The Australian Dolphins is the nickname for Australia's national swimming team, one of the most consistently successful programs in international swimming, regularly finishing among the top medal-winning nations at the Olympic Games and World Aquatics Championships. The team has produced generations of dominant swimmers, including Ian Thorpe and Susie O'Neill in the late 1990s and early 2000s and Ariarne Titmus, Emma McKeon and Kaylee McKeown more recently, and Australia is especially renowned for its strength in freestyle and medley events.
