Al Hilal Saudi Football Club is a professional football club based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, founded in 1957, and the most successful club in Saudi and Asian football history, having won a record number of AFC Champions League continental titles along with numerous Saudi Pro League championships. Playing in royal blue shirts, nicknamed "The Blue Wave," the club has been a dominant force in Saudi domestic football for decades and, amid the Saudi Pro League's major financial investment drive from 2023 onward, recruited a number of internationally prominent players as part of the league's broader push for elevated global visibility.
