BMX

BMX, an abbreviation for bicycle motocross or bike motocross, is a cycle sport performed on BMX bikes. It takes two competitive forms, BMX racing and freestyle BMX, and the same name also covers general street or off-road recreation on a BMX bike, so it describes both a competitive sport and a casual way of riding. The article lead supports only this short account, so the origin, rules, governing body and Olympic history of the sport remain for a depth pass.
