USA Wrestling is the national governing body for amateur wrestling in the United States, founded in 1968 and headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, overseeing both freestyle and Greco-Roman Olympic wrestling disciplines as well as folkstyle wrestling at the scholastic and collegiate level. It selects US teams for the Olympics and World Wrestling Championships and coordinates the sport's development from youth through senior levels across a country with a deep collegiate wrestling tradition.
