The United States Soccer Federation (US Soccer) is the governing body for association football (soccer) in the United States, founded in 1913 and headquartered in Chicago, recognized by FIFA as the sport's national authority in the country. It oversees the US men's and women's national soccer teams, the latter a four-time FIFA Women's World Cup winner and the most successful program in the tournament's history, and co-organized the 1994 and forthcoming 2026 FIFA World Cups, the latter shared with Canada and Mexico.
