The South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC) is the National Olympic Committee and umbrella sports confederation for South Africa, formed in 2004-2005 through the merger of several previously separate national sports bodies, and headquartered in Johannesburg. It selects and fields South Africa's Olympic team and oversees the country's Olympic sport federations, having guided South Africa's return to Olympic competition in 1992 after decades of international sporting isolation under apartheid-era boycotts.
