The Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) is the continental governing body for association football across Oceania, founded in 1966 and headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand, one of the six continental confederations recognized by FIFA. Its membership includes New Zealand, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Tahiti and other Pacific island football associations, and it organizes the OFC Nations Cup as its premier national-team championship, with its top-ranked side, New Zealand, having historically faced the most difficult qualification path of any confederation for the FIFA World Cup before a guaranteed slot was secured for the expanded 2026 tournament.
