The Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee is the National Olympic Committee representing Taiwan under the International Olympic Committee-mandated name and flag of Chinese Taipei, an arrangement negotiated in 1981 to resolve a longstanding dispute over Olympic representation of China and Taiwan, headquartered in Taipei. It selects and fields the Chinese Taipei Olympic team and oversees Taiwan's Olympic sport federations, with particular strength in taekwondo, badminton and weightlifting.
