Zaza Pachulia (born 10 February 1984) is a Georgian professional basketball executive and former player who now works as a basketball operations consultant for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association. He began his professional career in Turkey as a teenager and was chosen in the second round of the 2003 NBA draft by the Orlando Magic. Over a 16-year NBA career he played for seven teams and won two championships with the Warriors, in 2017 and 2018. He also represented the Georgia national team and captained it in several tournaments. He had a reputation as a physical, so-called dirty player, and his injury of Kawhi Leonard in the 2017 playoffs led to a rule change nicknamed the Zaza rule.
