Yukiko Ueno is a Japanese professional softball pitcher for Bic Camera Takasaki Bee Queen and the Japan women's national softball team, born in 1982. She won a bronze medal at the 2004 Olympics and gold medals at the 2008 and 2020 Games, and she was the first pitcher to throw a perfect game at the Olympics, against China in Athens. Her fastball tops out at 128 km/h and she is widely recognized as the fastest pitcher in women's softball, though her change-up is often called the best in the world. In Beijing in 2008 she threw more than 600 pitches in four days, and in 2021 she became the first non-American pitcher to win two Olympic softball golds.
